Qualifications in Programme 2022 and 2023
The focus for this year is to lay down skills and protocols which are applicable to most, if not all, businesses within the service sector. Students then move up to more specialised skills, depending on their choice of learning pathway. This year the courses in Programme 2020 include:
- NCEA Level 1 & NCEA Level 2
- New Zealand Certificate in Retail (Level 2)
- New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Level 2)

Step Up, Step Out (Level 1)
If you have recently left school and don’t yet have any entry level qualifications which might enable you to step into employment or into higher level education, the Step Up, Step Out programme lays down some basic know-how life skills which will give you, not only skills and knowledge which will be helpful throughout your life, but also qualifications. The topics in this programme are highly relevant and can be applied to a wide variety of situations, both personal and employment. The courses covered under this programme are:

It also touches on personal finances and other basic skills. By the end of the programme students can achieve New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 1) and most of the credits for NCEA (Level 1).
New Zealand Certificate in Retail Level 2
